Antoine J. Hayes is a Black writer of poetry, fiction and essays living in the US. His work negotiates the idea of being, including being human and non-human, and the effects of various forms of betrayal. He engages his audience first by posing questions and then by providing answers, if any, through the process of doing. His goal, if it can be said that he has one, is for the reader to examine their beliefs and be critical of their own opinions during and after reading his work.
Motto: “Words = Life.”
