April Newsletter

Greetings and salutations!

April is behind us, and it was a busy one of me. I read poetry at the Charm City Stories magazine release event at Johns Hopkins University and I had a table with my books at CityLit Festival. I even found time to work on a secret project, Ayo! Zines. Here’s what I written for April.

“Fantod”

A poem about emotional outbursts and different ways they become who we are.

“Lesser Known Black Poets to Read”

For National Poetry Month, I share books by 3 living Black poets that I recommend people read.

“Despot”

A story about a woman who thought she could control the world with her mind and intentions and behaviors.
